Default Setting up a new Group

Can anybody advise how this is done? Am I missing something obvious or does it have to be requested through a Mod or Admin?

it depends on the content and purpose, so post in the forum that you are interested in and see who joins. Pm that forums MOD too.

    Thanks for your help.
What I was thinking of was a regional group for the UK. I find it quite frustrating having to look through loads of BST/PIF/Shopping&Deals threads that all turn out to be CONUS only. It would be handy to have an area on the site that UK users could post to on these subjects - or even just put links to the threads they have put on the main forums.
Would this break any of the rules?

Let me get back to you. But this goes via PM normally.
