    Default email notification problem

    i'm not being notified of private messages received, nor am i getting email notification about new posts in threads i'm subscribed to. in my settings i've checked to be notified and also to receive email from members and administrators. what might be the problem?

    I have just checked your profile and it appears that everything is in order? It may be a silly question, but have your changed your e-mail address? If not, I would suggest that you "uncheck" receive e-mail notifications in your profile, save that setting and then "re-check" and save to see if that may help. Feel free to send me a PM to test.

    We have tested a couple of things Chris and Ed assures me that his Spam folder is empty as well. Any more ideas?

    "Check your spam folder" and "try unplugging the machine" is as far as my problem solving skills go, I'm afraid.
    Those 2 things solve 99% of computer problems....
