AOS Sandalwood has a pretty decent scent and I think is nicer than TOBS. While I have not yet tried it, I've heard a lot of guys seem to really like Salters.

AOS sandalwood cream and soap are top-notch.
Trumper's sandalwood cream is pretty good and is similar in scent to the AOS cream.
Crabtree & Evelyn sandalwood cream also has a wonderful scent, a bit stronger than AOS or Trumper's, and performs well.

I just bought a tub of sandalwood soap from straightrazordesigns.com and it smells and shaves amazing. My skin felt smooth almost a whole day after I shaved with it. The owners have a company make all of their soaps. I have 3 and they all smell great. The shave, to me, is as good as any soap I have tried. Just my .02
My favorite scent in my den presently is my Shave Library Cedar and Sandalwood. The lather isn't as dense as I'd like (which is probably more user error than anything), but the smell is amazing! And it lasts a LONG time. There are numerous times throughout the day where I catch the faint whiff of sandalwood. Makes me happy.

I have smelled it in the store many times, and own the AOS Sandalwood Shave Soap. It's not bad, but incredible? I disagree. It is not a pure Sandalwood scent by a longshot...they use oil from Australia, and then blend it with other non-sandalwood essential oils...the old cream ingredient lists actually broke this down.
The Fitjar cream, while not quite having the "perfect" sandalwood scent, is much closer to what I consider the real thing.

I like GFT cream.... also their sandalwood aftershave smells wonderful!

Just got the TOBS sandalwood cream - it's the only sandalwood I've tried so far, but really do enjoy the scent.
