Default Hey pipers...need help identifying this pipe

Hey gents...I just traded for this lot of pipes, some aren't pictured. I know what they are though. It's the top two in this picture that I have no idea about. I don't have them yet, but my friend tells me that the middle pipe has "Christmas 1994" on it. Just wondering if anyone here recognizes the top or middle pipe?

I'd have to see the markings, classic shapes with colored Lucite suggest an Italian or French pipe but thats by no means certain.

well...I knew it was a long shot from these pics. When I get the pipes on Monday, I'll take some better pics and see what we can come up with. I guess I'm wondering how many pipe companies make special edition Christmas pipes? I Googled it and only saw a few Dunhills and Asconti, but neither were this pipe.

I was thinking Savinelli. What is strange is there is no band or anything else to identify it as a special edition.

The top pipe also says "Roma" which makes me think it's a Savinelli too. The middle pipe also says "Imported Briar" with the other side says "Christmas 1994". It's actually in pretty good shape too, but needs a good cleaning. I'm going to start working on them both tonight.

Here's a pic of something I picked up. It says it's a K&P Peterson, but I can't find any information online about it, does anyone recognize it as a true Peterson?

Yeah it's a Pete It should be marked K&P Dublin

Usually if a pipe doesn't have a brand stamped on it it's a second, or a private label pipe. I highly doubt there are any second Christmas pipes, so I would bet that it was for a pipe club, or tobacconist to sell under their own name.

I haven't gotten the Pete yet, so I'm just going from the pics that I have. The Savinelli has a slight crack in the top of the bowl and a TON of cake build up, so it definitely needs to be reamed. Note to self, get a reamer, lol. The "christmas pipe" looks nice (still needs the ole carnuba treatment) but the stem has some serious chewing marks on it. Still draws great though, so it's a keeper. I'd still love to know who made the thing, lol

I don't use the car stuff because I don't know what solvent the wax has in it may be all carnuba but that's not all that is in there is in there some contain silicone as well and I don't want any off gassing or differential staining from silicone when the pipe heats up. There a few good paste waxes for pipes but I make my own or use pure carnuba loaded on a buffer.

Most of the good online tobacconists carry them.
