Of all the shaving brushes I own, the SOC 2Band just creates a lather creamier and denser than any other brush. Not that's a problem b/c I still love my other SB's. I guess there will always be that one shaving brush which performs best in all scenarios and other logistics. I guess mine is the SOC 2Band! Have a great day everyone!

You just keep on excelling with your SOTD contributions, Balaji. Another supreme pic!

O/C/BP is wonderful. The Pine & Cedar is also a great scent. I have not used it, but the puck smells like you're in the middle of a forest!

You know David after Orange/Cedar/Black Pepper, I wanted another scent. The one thats not in a tin was Lavender and Eucalyptus sounds awesome and then lime. But still go for the Orange and it will not fail you.

Balaji, the O&C scent is more muted than I was expecting. A very pleasing smell but not in your face as I thought it was going to be. The lather is typical of the Italian made hard soaps, yet I found it to leave my face a little dry afterwards, in exactly the same way as AoS soaps do too. The dish is C&S's anodised aluminium one, very heavy but very pleasing to the eye.

Thank you, Matt. I need to use the O&C a few more times to really appreciate it I think. As I've said to Balaji above, the scent is not as strong as I thought it would be. But yes, the word says it all!

That certainly is my go-to technique everyday, except I pinch the bristles of my shaving brush for any excess water!

I'm still trying to dial in this MW soap. The scent is great and the face feel afterwards is amazing. Today's shave left me CBS, and the lather was very stable in the bowl. It just seems to lack any cushion or glide, but that may be because I left it a bit dry to maintain the stability. That said, I'm not giving up on it because of how absolutely incredible my skin feels after the shave!

Another one for the books! Mike's soaps really create such a great lather on the face. I whipped up some creamy goodness and slathered it around the mug. The citrus and wood scent of the orange/cedar/black pepper was intoxicating. And the Sprecher restored Grelot wiped the stubble away. Two passes to perfection, and my face feels like a million bucks! The fougere scent of the Arlington paired well with the citrus and the richness of the Patou tied it all together. I'm ready for the world!

Prof. Chaos/Prof. Moriarty (that sounds ominous BTW :)...you guys aren't helping me resist the allure of D.R.H. Pink and Marlborough. Arlington wasn't for me, but I predict I will own these two sometime in the near future!
