No, he sent it on at least a month ago. He said he checked the delivery confirmation, Dusty1 received it on June 11. Haven't heard anything from him though.

He hasn't been on since Thursday, I wonder if he was affected by the storms on Friday. I also think he might be a student and may be all over the place because the year just ended.

I hope to hear where it is soon.

I told you that you should just leave it with me! I would have loved it and caressed it and polished it and called it George! (Old Bugs Bunny reference)

Hey guys, sorry about the delay, I was off on vacation when the razor arrived, then when I took it with me on a business trip things took way longer then they were supposed to. So I'm back now and ready to send it on it's way!
I could probably load Tabac on a Q-tip and still get a decent lather

Bugs Bunny, BTW, was referencing John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men."

I just replied to your PM Dusty. Sorry for the delay in reply. I just got back home from a few days away with working. I keenly look forward to giving this one a whirl.

I have been PM'd by several people wanting in on the list. I have declined them stating that hopefully the last person will start up a new list.

Sorry for the delay, and I'm glad everything got worked out. I was out of town after I sent the razor to Dusty1, so I forgot to keep everyone up to date on this pass around. Sorry!

I believe that should be Tomjr...Going by his avatar, he looks like and fair minded sort...Even if he does have a gun...Maybe even because he does have a gun.

Hello gents! I've recently been in contact with Turtle and he suggested I get in on this thread....graciously offering for me to take his place. Without having read the whole thread, is this a possibility? If so, what should I do. Turtle, I greatly appreciate your willingness to suggest it.

Well I've just now had a visit from the postman. The Slant has arrived safe and sound in the Land of Oz and will start taking a tour of my face in two days. Not only that, but it might also get a chance to visit the dusty outback region of Queensland, as I expect to be on the road in a few days time to visit family.
I will keep you all up to date, but expect that it will be a little quiet from me while I take this little beauty through her paces. She will then be sent winging her way to tomjr. Thanks for this opportunity Phil.

Big bull, I am sorry but the list is closed. I really do hope that the last person (Tomjr) starts a new pass around after enjoying this razor.

Mick R I am glad you are enjoying it, I am glad I had that opportunity to continue this (I sure enjoyed that razor, as did some people I know). The real person to thank is Amishmotorboat for giving up this wonderful device for all to share!

This thread is awesome! I was on the list but backed out when RAD bit me and I bought two slants. Glad you guys are enjoying the slant, I know I've enjoyed mine. I can't wait till traderes slant head is in production.

Well in that case, I would like to say Thank-You amishmotorboat. I took this razor for it's first test drive this morning. To say I loved it would be an understatement. I have in my collection seven cut-throats, three DE's and a Rolls. In my opinion this razor is the best of both worlds. It shaves with the closeness of a cut-throat and the ease of care of a DE. This is not why I love this razor so much though. I think I have found the perfect razor for my face. To get as clean a shave as I had today would require a two pass with the odd touch up. This style of razor gave me an almost perfect BBS in one pass.
I will be sad to see this one wing it's way to tomjr when the time comes, but I think I might just be placing an order for a slant of my own before it goes, so that way I won't have to wait more than a day or two to enjoy some of the best shaves I've ever had again. This is just my initial impressions of course, based on one shave. But what an impression!

Well, it looks like I am last on the list, as I have just had a reply to my PM sent to Tomjr. I am taking this razor away with me for a week and thought I'd get his details for forwarding on now, so that any delays would be minimised on my return. Tom has declined on the razor, preferring the futur over a slant.
I hope no one minds too much then, if I hang on to it a while longer before starting a new pass around. I have only had time to use it twice since it's arrival last Tuesday, having started that day with a BBS, but I think it is a great style, and well suited to my facial hair growth pattern. I going to have to find one to call my own in the near future.

I admit I had it for a couple months before reintroducing the list. I also sent it on a brief tour of friends and family who use DE razors prior to letting it go. I really need to get my own, but have been loving straight razors.
