No. 36 arrived to my mailbox today. I just had a great shave with it and am looking forward to many great shaves in the future.

Is there a timeline on the slant?

I stand to be corrected but I don't think that Richard ever promised a slant. I recall that he suggested that a slant might be the next project but that's all. And of course, that's assuming that there is a next project, which I sincerely hope there will be.

As things stand, it looks to me like filling orders for the current OC razor would certainly keep me busy enough. Like everyone else who now owns a Tradere I am very much looking forward to whatever Richard comes up with next be it a slant or whatever else.

And if Richard does decide on a future project, I would suggest a closed comb which seem to me to be the most valued and collected razors out there: eg. Eclipse, Darwin, Barbasol and the list of rare, expensive and desirable closed combs razors goes on.

Now as to a slant, yes we are working on that as our next project. We have begun working on the preliminary design and will be working on getting that design finished and prototyped. We decided to work on a slant next because it really is an intriguing design issue and has not been addressed in a long time.

    Sounds likely to me!!!

As I said, I stand to be corrected. I'm duly corrected, thanks!

I hope they do a slant. The OC is magnificent and a slant is something I would love to see.

Yes, especially an open comb slant. I vote 2 piece.

Despite Canada Customs best efforts to the contrary, I'm pleased to report that #145 has finally arrived!

Now if you'll pardon me I think I need to shave..

Shave complete, and let me say: Hot damn that was a good shave! I had 5 days of growth on there (my beard isn't especially thick or wiry, but it grows FAST), so I figured I'd really make it work for this one. Not so much. After the WTG first pass, my face felt about the same as it does after two passes with my Weber. Two more passes and it's pure delight. Even my trouble spots are far smoother than they normally get!

And that's just with an Astra SS. On the weekend I'll give a Feather or a Personna Lab a try!

I love my tradere razor. Now that I am use to shaving with an agressive razor. This has been the only razor I have shaved with. Very smooth and only 3 passes does the job. Well worth the money.

Ordered from WCS today - are they still serialized or was that just for the initial run? Looking forwards to the Tradere's arrival.

#168 arrived a few days ago from WCS. This razor feels solid in the hand, and probably be the last razor I will be buying for a long time.

I hope that Tradere manufactures a slightly milder closed comb variant as a daily shaver, I would pay good for that.
