what to do when you dont like the blade pack

well, like all the new wet shavers, i ordered the blade sample pack, i gut some good blades, like israely personnas, and i gut some dodgey pakistany ones i have yet to try,

the question is, if you tried one of the blades of a pack of 5 or 10, and it was absolute murder on your face, or you didnt like the quality of the shave, well, not trying a 2nd blade would be stupid, theres always the odd blade that passes quality control even when its not up to the standarts, but then, you realize that this particular brand does not play well with your razor or skin, would you just toss the other 3 blades in the pack ?

Well, if you tried two, with very bad results both times, I would definitely not use the other three.

If it were me, I would throw them into my next trade, in hopes the recipient likes the brand, or if not, that eventually they will arrive with someone who can use them.

You might want to try those dodgey blades in a different razor before you toss them in the bin. For reasons unknown certain razors like certain blades. My Toogle is terrible with a Derby but shaves great with a Feather or an Israeli. My red tipped Super Speed, Milord and Aristocrat are brutal when loaded with Feathers but are my Favorite razors with Derbys or Israels.

+1 on trying them in different razors. The difference can be like day and night.

You may want to tuck them away and try them again in 6-8 months, as your technique improves you can revisit them.

I tried the Derby's last year. If I ever saw another Derby again, it would be too soon. A year later, My HD loves them.
