Opinions Needed: Razor and Brush Presentation

Like many of you, I own several razors and brushes. Some of you like to display all of your stuff, and others like to display some of your stuff. To that end, enclosed are two photos. Which one do you like better?

Photo 1: Two brushes and four razors. Photo 2: Two brushes, one razor, and scuttle.

The second one looks very clen and uncluttered. My wife would really like you!
I keep my DB scuttle on the counter as well. The brushes and razors stay in the cabinet above the commode.

The first one says: Hey look at me, I have a lot of razors.
The second one says very quietly, I am who I am!

IMHO I'll go for #1

I say number 1, I love the old razors and think a skuttle looks more like a tea-pot. Just my opinion.

By the way, nice looking razors, and both setups are very nice!

Can't you choose both?

Personally I like number 1 - but if you are sharing counter space, 2 is by far the way to go. My wife and I constantly fight over counter space

Hard choice but I would say #2 except take out one brush and stand.

I'd go for #2 but with the addition of a 2nd razor.

We are all about 50/50 o the choices. In other words, You really can't go wrong with either one. It's all good!

No doubt. SWMBO said if I provided 4 choices, it still would have been evenly split.

Buy more stuff and use one display on the left and the other one on the right.

Neither really. Use the one that you like and/or works best for you.

I like #2, and in fact would even agree to drop a brush and go even more minimalist... Of course that's absolutely nothing like what I did in my own area. *sigh It's a hodgepodge of different ways to hold things, since I have bought for what I have at a given moment, and then get hit with an AD and wind up wondering where to put the next 2 str8s or brushes or DEs....

In a shared space I would say 2 with the removal of a brush. I do prefer the minimal look too.

All I wanted to do was mount "3" little mugs on the wall above the commode so it would feel more like a shave den for me. This is what I ended up with because the SWMBO does not want "ANYTHING" on "HER" counter top. but I do still have the DB Scuttle on "HER" counter !
I had to "find" the wood at Lowe's Home improvements..



You are a lucky man to have a SWMBO that will "ALLOW" you to place items on the counter top.
