    Howdy all,
I grovel before you humbly, weak, but with a ferocious thirst for a UFO Godzilla handle (thanks to this thread, for my FaTip Grande nickel). I put up a WTB in BST but figure my odds are better with this "focus group."
If you, your neighbor, your sister, or your uncle has one.... Well, you know ;-)

Please sir, please. Just one more handle?

I went lighter today, and at a shallower angle. Bingo! I'm sold. Please accept these photos (and a PM to Ken) as offerings of commitment to open comb goodness. I have a new (to me) R41 in the mail as well.....

Most would agree a razor such as the 2010 Muhle R41 feels as mild as the DE89. Open comb does not translate as more aggressive...I would encourage all those that haven't tried a open comb to try one. Don't know where to start? I would say start with the Gillette NEW, one of the finest razors ever produced...
Sadly, I've been wet-shaving for some time and have never consider an OC. Maybe this has to do with the aforememtnioned myths. But from the sound of it, I will definetly have to go and purchase a Merkur 41C and try it out.

I'm glad your second shave went better, and welcome to the group. Thanks for sharing the pics of your bar-handled LC NEW. That's a good razor.

Thank you again to all of you enabling BOTOC"ers.

I just corresponded a bit with Dr.Dulcamara about UFO Handles.
He confirmed that a Goliath XL will fit a nickel-plated FaTip Grande. I ordered one in Stainless - it'll probably be a couple weeks before it's finished.
    I'm super excited.

Dr.D was very very helpful and patient. Thumbs up for his communication~

It would be dishonest of me to suggest that I am not REALLY looking forward to photographing the handle, posting those pics here, and having them adored. Handle narcissism is petty, I know.

If not, I may just weld the FaTip head onto an aluminum bat.

An incoming razor to my group. The bottom of the box is beginning to wear but overall the box is in good shape and the razor is in very good shape.

    Thanks!
I always thought that the chrome look was best for this razor. I had plenty in gold and various stages of brass and copper that I was thinking about replating until this one came along.
