That's not a razor handle! That's a deadly weapon! I've saw baseball bats that aren't that large! I love the pattern on it, I agree, it reminds me of an Aristocrat. I may have to check into one. Dang it, just I cure my ADs, this comes along!

Ha! Yeah, that's a heck of gun to use for a custom! Still sweet though....

The only parts that are original now are the frame, slide, sights and barrel. Every other internal piece including pins and springs are all custom. Dumb way to go about customizing when starting with a pretty good setup to begin with, but, what the heck, now it's "MY" carry gun.

Whoa! So how's the grip on that compared to the Weber? I hope it's awesome with all that weight. I'm definitely interested!

One minor nit to pick about the Ikon handle ... it is a bit wide. You can see in photo #4, below, that the handle snugs up against the center rails, it is too wide to go all the way to the flat the way the BRW handle does. However, I think with this more aggressive razor I want to use this handle. The BRW Bull Mastiff Deluxe XXL with flare end is about the biggest, heaviest beast Bob made and it really makes the DE89 head sing. I don't want to use the BRW handle on the LC even though it fits down on the ground flat. If it really bothers me that much, I'll go to Clutch Cargo's house and grind the Ikon a little bit. But it won't affect the shave.

Thursday morning (Chicago, USA central time) will be the first shave with this beauty. Almost too pretty to use, isn't it?

Port Charlotte...I use to go to Charlotte county alot....Tapas one on Bin 82 was always one of my favorite places for dates....and Fisherman Village for some seafood and live music....both in Punta Gorda....was only about 35 minutes from my old house.....that was the area that took the direct hit from Hurricane Charley!

From your comment, I assume that the handles are not going to be generally available. We had talked about a drawing for the available number.

1st of all... this handle is incredible. Yes... it's fat and heavy but I can get used to it. It's like going from a FORD 150 to a FORD 350 if U had to make a comparison. I can't use it right now because I am currently experimenting with the Classic Cobra Tour razor. Man that is an awesome razor. So let me try to answer some of your questions.

Mikeschu: I paid 60 EUROS which included shipping and handling. It got here in only 6 days from Spain.

Randall (kingfisher): Yes... it is definitely a fat and heavy handle but in a good way

Johnnie (jbradley): LOL on that baseball bat reference. When U do get this handle you definitely do not want to drop it on your toes

James (jamesspo): The grip is outstanding similar to the Weber bulldog handle but with more weight and volume. Did I mention more weight?

Bigbull: I communicated with B&B member (Dr. Dulcamara). He is a good guy. I still use my EJ89L but not as much because of all the razors that I still have to try out. I only tried the R41 a few times and I will post up my review on that very aggressive razor in two weeks.

Celestino: I think I answered your question on who I communicated to get the UFO handle.

Ken: When U do have the clams for this handle.... U must get it. It is a thing a beauty.

All in all.... everyone life is wayyyyyy to short so I had to get this handle. I already missed out on the BRW handles with Bob's passing away. May he RIP. So... when the opportunity presented itself I just had to pull the trigger and I am one happy camper. Keep me posted when ya do get this handle.

I immediately liked the length and balance off the longer handle. Maybe it's not as pretty as the 41C, but I can hold it ;-)

If you are interested in the continuing adventures of a newb, I'll post about shaves with each of the various blades pictured. I can't promise it will be in any way educational, original, or insightful, but I bet you'll laugh once or twice (at me).

    Gentlemen, and especially brucered.

Please do not have suspicions. Everything is made out of B&B. I think not having breached any rules. If so, sorry and I apologize.

I simply helped Rafael and Warhawk to contact. By email. Rafael is my friend and do not speak English. It has very little time, since their work is another. I did not win anything and I have no commercial interest. Lend my time and help two people. Rafael sells directly the handles. He has its humble web www.uforazorhandles.com
Rafael has sent two handles to UK, with my help, without so much suspicion by anyone. People in general are very grateful. Rafael think everyday all of you and Milo will have handles for sale when available. The Warhawk handle is a prototype. Very special and very difficult to knurling. Torpedo model.

Tomorrow I will help Rafael to register in B&B, as a humble member, and he will post to you directly. Unfortunately he does not speak English. Also he is not very good with technology, but with metals is a Master.

He has said he wants to join the Brotherhood of the Open Comb. Do not know if he will be accepted. But he would like it that way.
    Kind Regards, Dr Dulcamara.
    BOTOC humble brother.

Gentlemen, only a little bit of information for you.

The Warhawk handle price is 45 EUR + 15 EUR shipping and handling express registered mail signed for and Paypal fees. The price of 45 EUR is not high, I think. It is a prototype very difficult to knurling. Is made of 316L stainless steel, mirror polished. This steel is very difficult to machine, but has the best properties. Rafael has only one piece of bar knurled like that for another unit.

It is 85 mm long. 15/15 mm caliber. 102 gr weight. Made in May 2012.
Thread is M5x0.8. Gillette heads fit well, including the NEW head. The neck ends to 8.5 mm to fit perfectly.
This knurling is very slim. Rafael do not get it when he wants, but when the steel let him. It has a silky touch, like velvet. Delicious.

Rafael liked Bob, his work and his way of making sales. He has told me many times that the work of Bob is very good. And that was one of his sources of inspiration. I do not know if in the future he will build a model as a tribute to Bob, but this would not surprise me.

I personally have been fortunate today to get a Bullmastiff de luxe. I look forward to having it. Come on, I go to sleep.
    Kind Regards, Dr Dulcamara.
    BOTOC humble brother.
