It was at breakfast this morning that he suggested it. He said he likes new members because they are not as staid as old members.

by the way, I shaved with an Old Type for the first time just this morning.

It seemed a little dicey; sometimes it seemed like I could feel the blade moving or vibrating, almost. And yet, no cuts, no weepers, and a pretty good shave. The jury is still out on the Old Type for me, though.

I received my Gillette New short comb in the mail yesterday and this morning got to give it a go.
Did my usual routine, shower, soak brush and all that. Got a blade that was sitting out from a shave I did the other day and did not care for the razor and removed the blade. It was a Derby. I used that in the short comb with my Cella. The shave was extremely smooth. I did three passes as the Derby felt like it was giving out. Maybe I had two previous shaves on that blade and forgot. I should have just used a 7 O'clock blue like I did in the LC. I still enjoyed the shave and it was a very close shave. After 4 pm, and my face is still very smooth. That is a little unusual.
I think I am pretty much done with the TTO and my Tech razor for now. The Gold Tech I got with the short comb will just sit in the case now. I have no interest in even trying it.

This week I have a few new items to add to my collection......a Old Type Single Ring, a Fatip Grande and a gift from April...a Ken Doll shave set!! LOL
