Gerry, thanks for sharing the vid.

I'm a bassist. Number one ax is my 1976 blonde-on-blonde P-bass with a tortoise-shell pickguard. Until recently I had an every-Thursday-night gig at a local coffee house. (The guitarist got P.O.'d at me over something unrelated to the gig and he hasn't asked me back in the past few months.)

Anyway, gigging is a lot of fun and I'm a HUGE Fender fan.

I'm think a road trip to Chicago is in order!! Grab Ralph!, Grab your Open Combs! Grab The Single malt and Cheddar and bring the onions!!!!!

I had to revive Ralph after he seen this!!! and Arley threatened to turn Ralph into curried goat!!...the horror of it all!!
I must admit that I am losing the love for the Open Combs. I still own four of them, but they rarely get used. I am pretty sure I will be getting rid of the "uholy trifecta" as there is no reason to use such aggressive razors, when I can get a BBS in four passes, and light buffing with a TECH or two passes and light buffing with any number of GEMS and EVER-READYS.

BTW guys, the ONIONS are used to to COOK Ralph

Well folks, i have to inform you all that i could not get along with the FaTip, again. i found it too harsh; not overly aggressive, but too harsh on my neck and jawline.
So, it will have to go, unfortunately, and it has already been accounted for. Beautifully designed razor, but.....
Next up, the R41! Again, this is the second time with this razor and i can already see the same fate befalling it as the FaTip! Someone is going to get a nice deal here.
Still enjoying my Old Type and Single Ring; fantastically smooth shavers when pairing with a nice blade such as the Polisilvers, Iridiums, Yellows, etc.

They are fighting over the FaTip, not the FatTip (as in marker, get your heads out of the gutter)

I'm finally on my way to brotherhood. I pulled the trigger on a chrome Fatip Grande from Maguire's Barbershop.
