Timex Weekender

Hey everyone, looking at picking up a new watch. Something classic, but not "old." Ended up deciding on a Timex Weekender.
I love the look of this one, but the stock bands are too short for my wrist, so I have to buy aftermarket. What do you think of this combo? And any other feelings towards teh watch.

Nice and clean, love my TImex's, and Casio G-shocks!!

I really like the weekender watch. I bought my 13 y.o. one but kids don't wear watches that much anymore. I think it's a great idea to get a variety of Nato's that could coordinate with different apparel.

The nato bands are great, go for it!

Really like the Weekender, and the ease of swapping out the NATO bands. It's a very clean and simple watch design -- works with almost everything.

Ended up going with the navy and gray band on a slight off white face. Looks nice and classic. Will probably pick up a army green band and something to go with black as opposed to the blue.

It seems to be getting more difficult to find an inexpensive analog dial watch without the day/date thing. Thank goodness for Timex.

Exactly what I found Bob, I didn't mind having a date necessarily, but it was quite hard finding something simple and inexpensive.
