    Default Wall-mount brush holder?

Anyone know of a nice wall-mounted brush holder? I've got the usual C-shaped plastic unit, but I'd prefer a wire (or maybe ceramic?) holder. All the wire holders I've seen are free-standing.

I've tried all the usual-suspect vendors, but no luck. Any thoughts?

Also, since that is designed for razors, it is a pretty open question whether it will work for you brush or not.

I wouldn't put a wet brush in a holder mounted on the wall. The wall might get streaked from the water draining off the brush.

Thanks, Timb. I saw that thread, and it looks perfect. I only need to hold one brush, but a few seconds with the Dremel should address that. Nice re-purposing!

I can't wait until I move out of this apartment here at school and live somewhere else on my own with no roommates. My mom wants me to live at home for a bit while I work and save up money, but there's no way in heck she'd let me ever put holes in walls to hang up shaving brushes....

    I can't wait until I retire.

This is what I use. I believe that we bought it from either a tile shop or a bathroom fittings shop.

I ordered a brush stand from Muehle, which I pasted to the wall with the tape that came with it. There's also a spot in the stand through which you can drill a hole. It's hanging upside down so as not to harm the hairs of the brush.

Learn to spackle, find the touch up paint, and then do it. When she complains, assure her that when you leave it will look as though you were never there. It probably wouldn't hurt to put in a few words about how it frees up counterspace/is aesthetically pleasing too.

It still wouldn't fly. When I'm home, the whole house is to look like I'm not even there, except for my body. So just looking like I'd never been there wouldn't work. I'd have to look like I'm not there. Except she likes the look of my Tweezerman and one razor on my one stand. But that's hardly my entire "museum," as my roommates call it.

I did some thinking. How about a piece of sheet metal and cut and bend it in the right shape? I guess that could be made cheaply.

Well do try to have fun in between. I've burned the candle at both ends too often and am working toward scaling back and still be alive when I retire.
    Relax...Take it easy...Enjoy the lather.
