I received my polo 8 today, I couldn't be happier with the brush. I purchased this brush mainly to be used for bowl lathering. The brush feels a bit stiffer than my others including my chubby 3 so imo it might work nicely with soaps as well. I'll keep posting my opinions on this brush for a week or two as I know there are people out there interested in opinions before purchase.I have always found them quite useful.

I lathered up a bit of castle forbes earlier, the brush holds water extremely well. I was lucky enough to get a generous thick dense knot and cannot wait to see how this brush will begin to break in. As far as the lathering... the handle fits into your palm nicely working lather is an easy task for sure. The nice long handle will work well in the deeper bowls and allows for a cleaner lather. I thought my duke 2 was my go to brush.... we will see
