    Heyo, gentlemen.

I've not even touched a straight edge, nor a safety razor. However, my Gillette is proving to be an irritation, as is the canned goo that I use. So, I'd like to jump into the world of wet shaving. Straight edge blades intrigue me, but I think a safety razor is the way to go for now. However, I'm open to both. Where could I find an all-inclusive kit, but with a vintage razor? Thanks for being here - I'd be clueless without the information here.

That's a great place to start. On top of that, feel free to ask questions on the forums. I spent several days just combing the place soaking in knowledge lol

    Welcome--
I think finding a kit package with a vintage razor will be tough, but you might be able to find one. My vote for a vintage is Gillette Super Speed, Fat Boy, or a slim. They are all fine working razors. I would visit the vendor forum and jump on some of their sites to find items you like. Search for reviews on your favorite items, make a decision, and buy, buy, buy. After all, as much as many of us talk about DE shaving saving money, most of us really like purchasing new and different toys. That's part of what keeps this fun is the unlimited combinations.
Wishing I was back on the AT.
