Prada Amber pour Homme Intense EdP

I recently picked up this fragrance and have been loving it: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P285129

I haven't really seen any discussion of it around here. Has anyone else tried it? It's definitely a multi-layer fragrance: it opens big with the bergamot, but once that settles, the middle and drydown are fantastic. It becomes a warm, subtle (but still prevalent) and just slightly sweet scent (certainly not a gourmand). Being an EdP, it has lasting power throughout the day without being overpowering. A little goes a long way! I was really surprised how much this fragrance changed as it wore. By the end, you wouldn't have any idea that it started with a blast of bergamot.

I don't have a lot of experience with frags, at least not as much as many around here, but I think this is a high quality fragrance. This is very different from the original Amber pour Homme.

I have tried it and I LOVE it. I do not own a bottle though. I own the original Prada Amber and it is one of my favorites. To tell you the truth though, the intense version really does not smell like an "intense" version of the original. It smells like a completely different fragrance. It is very strong and lasts a long time. So does the original even though the original is only an EDT.

It's been a while since I had my sample from Sephora. I remember liking it. I should check it out again.
