I found these two pipes in a box of my Grandfather's effects. I haven't gone through this box in a while, it was fun. I found this Aristocrat Airograte by Yellow Bole and this Kirsten, which I find fascinating. I had a very difficult time taking the Kirsten apart, but finally got it apart and cleaned it completely. It was pretty nasty, but now it's clean and ready to smoke ;-)

I don't know much about either one, but they seem really cool and I plan on smoking them both!

So, this morning I smoked the Kirsten and it offered a great experience. I find the pipe a bit heavy to just hold in your mouth, but the shape is good to hold and puff. The Kirsten offered good draw, which by turning the small knob on the end can be adjusted a little. Not quite sure if this is the purpose of the plug in the end, but it worked out. I need to go read about this pipe at the link Derrick posted above, but I wanted to give a little feedback on the pipe.

I hope to get a bent Kirsten at some point, I saw a cut away of the design, pretty ingenious, how does it smoke?

I really enjoyed it, the smoke was cool and there was absolutely no gurgle or moisture. Admittedly I smoked the entire bowl a little quicker than I normally do, but it was great. I highly recommend them. The only detractor for me is that it's too heavy to hold in my mouth. I'm also thinking that it will be a constant chore to keep the draw hole clear at the bottom of the bowl, due to it's orientation. I say this, but haven't had any trouble with it and I've smoked several bowls today, so this is merely speculation.
