Default guess the new B&B brush

so gentleman, the word is there is a new B&B brush on its way. joel has eluded that it might be coming from the UK. i have a very strong suspicion as to what it is (well, at least what the knot will be). if i am right this will be a definite must buy brush for me.

what do you guy think it will be?

    cheers,
    ryan

If it's an English company my guess is Rooney.

I believe Rooney worked with the SMF folks on one of their group brushes. I'm guessing Vulfix and Kent are too big to deal with us. And I'm also thinking the folks working on the brush are no longer "Simpsons sychopants" due to the quality issues so they aren't banging on Simpsons' door for a group brush.

Fun to speculate but I am not going to wager any cash dollars on this one!

I can just about guarantee it's not a Rooney.

I'm guessing it's going to be from a "smaller" maker we don't hear/talk much about. Time will tell....but hopefully not too much time

There are a lot of companies on the list..... a lot of good English companies on the list.... but you're forgetting a few

One hint though.... it isn't a Rooney. After what Lee Sabini did to QED Charles, I want nothing to do with the guy. (But that's another story)

Interesting choices... personally a Vulfix, Simpsons, or Kent would be great by me. I've been in the market for all 3.

But, it would be absolutely incredible if one of the "3T's" came through. I don't know if their brushes are just rebrands (I think the Taylors = Simpsons, but not sure), but T&H particularly offers a couple really sharp looking ones.

None of the 3T's make brushes, at least anymore, so far as I know. They rebrand from the major manufacturers.

A big thank you to those involved. I look forward to purchasing and appreciate your effort. I really enjoy last year's model and am sure this will be another high quality brush. Cordially, Bradley

I would not mind a Simpsons (provided they have better QA), somehow I have to say that it will be EJ as they have worked with B&B in the past (see B&B 2006 brush)

The only I can think of that make their own are Edwin Jagger (but Joel wasn't happy about how things went last year, I think) and Men-U (synthetic B&B brush? Surely not). I think the three Ts, Harris and Salter all sell rebranded brushes.

Of course, it could very well be a non-UK company, in which case we get a few other interesting contestants (like Whish! :P).

It's a very limited brush that will be made by Castle Forbes. There is an extremely rare and limited badger hunting season in the UK this year and Joel is making a quick hunting trip to the 6000 acre Forbes estate to bag a few for the forum. I hear he is taking his Dachshund, Fluffy, to flush them out. You can be assured that your brush won't shed, but there is a risk of a shot pellet or two falling out at some point.
