    What were you using?

That is very unusual, try polishing again with Maas or Flitz.

It doesn't look that bad, a cosmetic blemish is all.

What were you using, and was there anything else on the blade?

Also interested in what you used. Have you tried rubbing it off dry? Sometimes polishes react weird/cloudy to water. Curious if a dry buff fixes it at all.

ID:	229155. The directions said to just apply with a towel and wipe it off. Now I don't know what to do ㅠㅠ... and I won't be back in the states. Also I see there is Maas on ebay... though the shipping cost is as much as the product. Should i get the pre treated cloth or the 2oz container.

Also if anyone has a step by step guide on how to fix this that would be most helpful.

I would try Maas or blue magic! If you get the Maas I would go with the tube not a pre treated cloth.

Man, no kidding. I've spent half an hour rubbing stuff down with Smith's silver polish, and 3 minutes with toothpaste, and it's hard to tell the difference.

Autosol, if you can get it. Try somewhere that sells car accessories.

That has to be some sort of chemical reaction. Almost like it had bleach or sodium hydroxide in it. I've never seen that product before, and my knowledge of Korean is very limited, so I'm not sure what happened. Wash the blade well in water to neutralise whatever it is, dry well, and try to get some autosol. That should fix the damage somewhat.

Toothpaste wise, just rub it with a paper towel or something? and it should work? And to legion I can't find the autosol at the megamart closest to me but I'll be on the look out for it.

If you want to try toothpaste just buff it with a cloth rather than a paper towel which will break down.

Wow - well I would go with some 600 wet/dry sandpaper myself.

But then you need 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, and polish.

Just try to polish and cross your fingers.

yeah, if that doesnt work, start on the higher end of wet/dry. maybe 2k is enough---this way you don't have to do the whole progression as Legion mentioned.

Mother's Mag Polish works like a charm as well. Very mild and takes a bit more effort and a good amount of time spent hand polishing, but it will eventually do you right.

Looks at the bottle, I'm guessing the OP is in Korea and doesn't have access to alot of these suggested products.

I would say toothpaste is the best bet.
