You could say I am a fan.....if you look where I live you will see that I am a 20 Minute drive to the Brewery....which dosent suck...
Cool fact about the place...the workers, along with their pay, get a free case of beer a week...
I have a friend that works there, and often sample some of his freebie....Aprihop was killer....

Love the 90 Minute, it is readily available here at Whole Foods. I do wish it was easier to obtain, as grabbing two 4-packs at a time is inefficient.
I suppose I could drink less........

I respect what Dogfish Head does--they take enormous risks with some of their releases, and I admire that. With regard to their IPAs, I favor 60 and 90 blended in a glass together. I don't care for 120, though, as I find it too sweet. I am annoyed that they won't be releasing their World Wide Stout this year. Fortunately, I have a couple of bottles set aside. Oh--and no Squall (essentially unfiltered 90) this year, either.

I love most of their beers. Some are just plain amazing! There are a couple I cannot quite stomach. I will have to try them again. I am so sorry that I cannot find them here. But I have family in Maryland and get a load of them when I go there.
My wife is just starting to get into craft brew which is a HUGE PLUS! I just bought her Dogfish Namaste. This is a great recommendation for all your SWMBO's! Its a craftier, better formulated Blue Moon/Hoegaarden. Coriander, orange, lemongrass...

Palo Santo for me.
Has anyone here tried their rum?
I've only tried 10 or so of their releases. The Namaste was fantastic. The others I could take or leave. I was really disappointed in Squall. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but it was flat and cloyingly sweet.
Not a fan!

I have 2 4 packs of the Palo Santo aging right now. Just got a hold of 2 bottles of the Namaste and 1 bottle of the 75 minute last week. Pretty much searched all over the Fort Worth area as people at local stores have told me where they believe some of the harder to get releases may be.

I am a big fan. I live in Kansas, so I look forward to finding their stuff on trips and buying what I can. Midas Touch is my favorite followed by the 90 ipa.
I love their IPAs, I just wish the useless NBLC would stock it. There's only one bar in town that carries it and it's a special order through NBLC. I can only imagine what that costs them.
If somethings important you'll find a way, if not you'll find an excuse.
I really like Dogfish Head and think the 90 min IPA is top-notch. Maybe it was just my personal experience, but I think Dogfish Head did a lot to bring extreme bear mainstream. Sam from Dogfish Head seems to always be doing interesting things to raise the profile of beer, like his collaboration with Mario Battali to bring Italian beers into the spotlight at the Birreria in NYC.
Or his collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania archaeology museum to make beers based on ancient recipes, like the Midas Touch or Chateau Jiahu. I think this is what led to Sam working with the Discovery channel to make Brew Masters:

I am lucky enough to live in northern Virginia where there are several Dogfish Alehouses, http://www.dogfishalehouse.com/locations/dfha-fairfax. I think their beers are very good. I would have to say my favorite is the 60 min IPA. I like many of the others, but the 60 min is the one I order most often.

I really like their 60 and 90 min IPAs and Squall is one of my favorite beers hands down. I also am in love with Bitches Brew, I still have a couple but I wish it wasn't so rare because I would drink it regularly.
I have tasted their more popular 60 and 90 varieties, but unfortunately they are not widely available in Ireland and end up very expensive.
Seeing as how some of you guys in the states have troule getting them I can understand why they are rare here.
From reading this they seem like an American version of Ireland's own porterhouse, or Scotland's Brewdog. By that I mean strong brewers that have a good line of regular products, but occasionally produce crazy stuff.
All in all great to see companies willing to try things, must keep my eyes open for different dogfish head varieties.
Stephen - I can get a bit obsessive about stuff, I reckon I'll be safe here
Love it. If you have a Total Wine locally, they stock a huge variety.
