Just placet a big order !
    Lots of TFS goody goodness.
Too bad I have oily skin, but I will try out the TFS balms in the future. They're just not a priority right now.
Also, a 400ml bottle of Proraso AS lotion can make up for a lot .
My wallet is in the hospital...

I used the Dure twice now and it's great stuff. Very slick and cushioning lather. The scent is the same but much more subdued. I need to try it a couple more times for a final verdict, but my first impression is very good.

How hard is it? What can you compare it to? I'm going to say something here ... this may be the best soap/cream I've ever used. And the scent just makes it even more amazing. Neroli

It's a hard soap but not triple milled hard, I think. You won't get away with just a few swirls of your brush, this soap needs to be loaded properly. I'm not sure what to compare it to, but it's a quality soap and for a very decent price. The BN balsam is very nice too, very cooling and moisturising with that familiar BN scent.

There is indeed a flat rate of CAD19.81 and that is added to the handling fee. The handling fee appears at the end of the checkout process and is about $7. I almost continued with my order but Shipping and HANDLING was $27 and the Paypal fee is another $2.60. That throws us at $30 to get anything less than CAD110 . I wish the handling fee was specified at the beginning of the checkout process or in the Shipping drop-down table.
I have to wait a bit till I need that much product for sure.

Great site and thank you for your efforts.

    Hi Verbavolant,

Glad you tried it but just like Brucered some time ago, there must have been an error in our shop or you have seen something as handling which isn't. We don't have handling costs. The software might call something shipping and handling, but the only shipping costs are € 15,20. (Of the actual € 17,20 we pay) There is no extra cost and there is for sure no handling cost. Can you tell me where you saw that $ 7.1?

Btw, if anyone thinks, after checkout, that something has not been transparent, like you think, then please let us know.

Anyone outside the EU should see all product prices, but with VAT of 19% deducted. Then the only addition is shipping which in your case was CAD 19.81. That should be it.

(I just checked for you: the shipping of € 15,20 is indeed about CAD 19.81, but then that's all. In the next screen, it is called "shipping and handling" but is the same amount) The only other thing after that is the discount. But that is deducted! You may have had a discount of about € 5. Please check if that was the case)

You might want to try to do the whole checkout process in Euro, especially because Paypal will otherwise calculate it wrong.

    Good luck,

    Eric

Here is a screen print of the checkout page when shipping method is selected:

    Here is the next page:

I did not say nor think that "something has not been transparent".
I will try again in Euros.

That was the problem. If you shop in $, there is an extra $7 added. Weird !

Thank you Eric for quick follow-up and outstanding customer service. I would like to clarify the issue brought out today ( not fun dealing with software glitches on a Sunday evening).

Eric discovered the problem as a conversion from € 15,20 to $ 19,96. Then, when shipping is selected, in the next screen, the $ 19,96 is reconverted as if it were € 19,96 to $ 26,21.

It also seems to be a well-known bug in virtuemart.

As Eric pointed out, the only thing that can be done is to keep using Euros in the checkout process.

Thank you again Eric and I truly appreciate your hard work.

Now I am back to the store for more goodies...

Have received some of the new Cuore di Lavanda too and we are busy testing new fragrances. Something in the "artiginiale" tradition of Tcheon Fung Sing, but very much suited for a nice hot summer.

Will keep you posted but we will announce them in our newsletter too:

I hope we will soon be able to announce two more new scents to the Tcheon Fung Sing line.

Besides that, we will have larger soaps of the TFS BN dure that will also be a little more scented than the current line. These are all handmade and will soon have dried enough to be packed and sent to us.

Some more surprises may be on their way, but we have to talk about those with TFS first.

The most recent version of the barbe blu Name: TFS Ciotole Blu 20.jpg
Views: 327
Size: 26.2 KB has received a little more of the sandalwood scent. I haven't used them but from the smell, it certainly is more noticeable than before.

Stay tuned and / or subscribe to our newsletter http://eepurl.com/bUYYb for latest news on this and other new products.

We will also get a special selection of the Leone pastiglie from Turin too: Name: 1230 Lattine Sweet(s) Italia R pocket 15g.jpg

(Please notice that these have just 15 grams of candy! It's about the tin and the candy but you will not get fat from one of these tins!)

Another addition but available only very limited are the Italian Palmolive Menthol: Name: Palmolive menthol.jpg
Views: 325
Size: 58.5 KB Word is that they would give one of the best menthol-kicks.

Le pastiglie Leone are truly excellent. They have been around since 1857 and are the most traditional you can find in Italy. Here is a nice link to these super delicious candies: http://www.pastiglieleone.it/?lang=en

    Hi all,

We will soon announce two new soaps, made by Tcheon Fung Sing.

    After the:

    TFS Bergamotto Neroli (BN)
    TFS Tabacco Verde (TV)
    TFS Sandalo Boise (SB) and
TFS Cuore di Lavanda (CL) (already on sale - for the sensitive skin)

    we will have the

    TFS CAM and the
    TFS FP

Now that I'm writing this, I realise this would be great for a contest....

They will be produced next week and I hope available for sale mid June.

A litlle sooner even, we will have the new TFS BN dure, but bigger than the current version with a little more of the Neroli-scent (TFS BN aroma intenso)

Pictures will follow soon as we will also have a nice jar to fit this soap in.

I will open another thread with more announcements soon!

    Bye,

    Eric

Since you are only giving acronyms, is the contest "guess the scent"? Maybe I should pick up an Italian dictionary. Was really hoping for a ZG acronym in there (which would be the RazoRock Cumba Cheech scent), but can't wait regardless.

We received our special Italian pin-ups yesterday!

Please know that these are very small, with only 15 grams of candy, but we think they would be an excellent addition to your shaving purchases, especially if you want to add something that "other members of the family" also can enjoy!

The "Bianca" is with mixed flavours, the "rosse" is with cinnamon-flavoured sweets and the "verde" has mint flavour sweets.

We have a special section for these sweets:

Received a big shipment earlier in May and my sons and I love the shaving soaps! Especially the Barbe Rosse. Smells so good I could damn near eat it.

    Hi All,

I will do an explanation of all the new Tcheon Fung Sing products later, but the soaps I mentioned earlier are TFS Cannella e Arancia Amaro (Cinnamon - Orange) and TFS Freschezza Polare. Another one coming is the Mandarino e Spezie. Scents will be "intenso" which means there will be more of the distinguishing perfumes in the new versions.

Please allow me to give a better explanation this weekend. New soaps won't be available for shipping until June 15th.

    Thanks,

    Eric

Welcome to B&B! I totally agree with your excitement. THIS company I could easily use all their soaps exclusively and be happy. In fact, three of the five soaps in my rotation is theirs.
