One of these will be my next brush. I am looking for a brush that I will mostly used for bowl lathering creams and on occasion I'd likely use this brush would be used for face lathering. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks B&B!

If you're mostly using it in a bowl I'd tell you to go for the Polo, the handle is much confortable for that use. Anyway, both of them are great brushes, you can't go wrong with them.
The polo and duke are at opposite ends of the brush scale. Polo is a giant and the duke is a stubby.
I can't speak to the SR as I have not tried one but I would put my money on the Polo against any brush (yea, any of them)

I have both the Polo 8 and the Duke 3 and both are excellent brushes. I also have a SR but a different model and it too is excellent. All three work well for me in my scuttles. I think you would be just fine choosing the handle that you like best.

I have all 3 and the Polo 8 and SR 3824 would be my choice. Duke 3 is outstanding all around brush in its own right but your other 2 options based on my experience are more optimal due to the longer handles, for bowl lathering and they're fantastic for face lathering as well if you go that route.
Now if I personally had to choose 1, as much as I adore Simpsons, the SR 3824, w/o a doubt. It does everything beautifully and whips up lather faster than the other 2 and feels more luxurious in the process.. Just 2 cents from a guy that owns all 3.
I like the long handle of the Polo 8 but the SR is much more competitively priced.
I am surprised someone hasn't responded with the typical B&B response...just get all three!
David
The SR is superb, and can do everything well.

Get all three. Seriously.
If you are considering three such different brushes, it means you haven't yet dialed in your preferences. You owe it to yourself to try all three. Flip the ones you don't like and consider the slight expense as a rental fee and as an educational expense.
Thanks to a decent sale on BST and Bravado13's offer I'll soon have a SR 3824. I suppose fathers day isn't all that far away...maybe I'll get the Duke 3 then.

This is a dangerous forum. I have a Duke 3, which is a great all around brush. I am tempted by the Polo. The Polo 10 must be a pretty big brush. I already have a Chubby 2 and a Chubby 3. They are not small. The M7 Manchurian has a very nice size handle which for me is very comfortable. Probably my favorite brush. Whichever you choose, enjoy! it's hard to fight SBAD.

I haven't tried the Simpsons but I DO have the SR 3824. It is outstanding as a bowl latherer and was a significant quality jump from my previous BBB. can recommend it. Hasnt shed at al since March...
And Chuck from QED gave outstanding service and always responded promptly.
Finally, the SR was the clear winner of the Brush Wars on this very forum a while back.

Broke down. Pulled the trigger on an SR 3824.

It all points to the Polo I would say.
The Duke looks better though and for my hands, it fits for bowl and face lathering.
The Polo 8 in two band super I have is the best Simpson brush I ever owned. It is perfect for face lather (like I do), but due to the length of the handle also great for bowl lather. The handle it self is great to hold.
