shaving supplies in Brussels, Belgium

This saturday I'll be in Brussels for one day. On the Wiki I found there are some pretty interesting shops in Brussels whom sell luxurious shaving goodies. Since SWMBO wants to go shopping (think Zara, Mango, H&M - those stores seem to be located in one street) I made a deal..I can shop too, lol.

But since I'm not familiar in Brussels..are the shaving shops located near the shopping streets?

I can't answer your question Robbin, but I would suggest that a little internet searching will provide you with the addresses of the stores you wish to visit. If Brussels is like most other cities (I'm pretty sure that it is) Mango, Zara and H&M will be right in the middle of the main shopping area. I hope that your plan works out.

I don't think there are any shaving shops in Brussels, just shops who sell some soaps, cremes and maybe a few brushes.

Au Grand Rasoir is between the Grand Place and the Place Sablon, very central and a good range of shaving tools, some soaps and creams too.

Thanks guys! I'll go to Grand Rasoir for sure! There seems to be a shop located at the Place Stephanie (Stefanieplein) who carries Geo F Trumpers and Santa Maria Novella! Is it reachable by foot from the 'Nieuwstraat'?

Yeah I saw the Wiki, but I didn't know if the shops were located in the centre of the town.

Ah, what a shame..I already went to Brussels yesterday..

I went to Au Grand Rasoir. Nice little shop with a lot of Proraso and TOBS articles. Unfortunately the owners are not that kind..Did buy the TOBS Lemon & Lime though :)
Also found a shop that, I thought, was not in the wiki. It's located at Passage du Nord in the 'Nieuwstraat'. It's a small knife shop who carries Dovo straight razors, Merkur DE's and Plisson brushes at a reasonable price.
