what's your next brush ?

Ummmm........ I have no idea what my next brush will be. But I am shopping for one. All I know is VDH which I don't think is too bad it works and does its job but want one w/ a bit stiffer brush to pull out the whiskers. Any suggestions?

I currently have a custom M7 in Jade in progress by Matt and am considering another in butterscotch swirl. I am constantly on the hunt for a Plisson European White and a Plisson HMW in a 10 or 12 at a price I can manage.

While I would love to run right out and buy a nice chubby or some other sexy expensive looking brush out there I must restrain myself as funds are tight. I have however been thinking about making a brush. Maybe getting something old off of the bay and resurrecting it. I am thinking I could do this for $40ish?

My piggy bank is empty at the moment, but my next brush will be either a 28mm Shavemac D01 3-band or a custom Rudy Vey brush made with that same Shavemac knot.

Just finished it. Ace Shaving 21mm Best Badger. Handle is turned from a black walnut blank.

I have an aluminum rubberset handle that i need to finish restoring, once it's done a tgn knot would probably find its place there.
Untill then, my WD silvertip, Omega 11137 and Frank Synthetic serve me well enough and that never ending project keeps me from buying more brushes.

I'll probably be contacting Rudy very soon to make me a nice beehive style in butterscotch with a nice shavemac knot in silvertip. After that I might try an Omega boar brush or a Vie Long horsehair or horsehair/badger combo.

Probably a Thater 4125/1B 24mm two band finest silver tip bulb. On second thought maybe a Simpson Persian Jar 2 super 2-band. Or possibly a Kent BLK8 silver tip. Geeez... so many brushes so little dinero.

I've been eyeing a Savile Row 3824 but as of today they're sold out! :cursing::cursing::cursing: I suppose I'll keep an eye on the used market for one now.
