Default Pick a Frangrance to Add to my Rotation

My chosen frangrances over the past 20 years or so (and I try to do a balm in that too, if available) are Santos by Cartier, Issey Miyake, Floris 89, Blenheim Boquet and Hanae Mori. I have now added Trafalgar to the line up. Right now I rotate between BB, Trafalgar, Issy and Hanae.

They all have similar notes to my nose and the chicks love them. SWMBO, being Nihonjin, prefers Hanae and Issey for national pride

Im running low on Issey. I will probably replace it 'cuz I like it. But I think I need a 5th

Floris is hard for me to get but not insurmountable. I dont feel in a Cartier phase right now. I find Grafton to be similar to trafalgar and 1805 seems rather light in the loafers fer a fat old guy like me. I have been thinking about a Creed ( I enjoyed them at the Neiman Marcus counter in LV, especially Royal Oud, Windsor and the other one, supposedly the real old one,Spanish Leather) but am unsure if they fit my scent profile, which is pretty floraly fruity right now. Also, while I have no problem paying for quality, I wonder how much of my $$ on Creed is being paid into hype. I have used Akka kappa 1869 in the past and it didnt blow me away.

All of the scents I am using, to my nose, seem sophisitcated and not chemically harsh. Lifestyle wise, most of the time, I get to dress like a schlump. However, at certain times of the year, I have to wear a suit and tie. I am also signed to a TV show so will be hangin around Hollywood types...

So I would love some frangrance suggestions in the moderate to high end range that I could try or sample. All I have available here at home is the stuff Nordstom carries (no Creed up here) and the T&H line so I would need to get my scent shipped in. As we have a branch in Las Vegas and we travel back and forth, I could also get stuff there, or on line

A few suggestions that might fit what you have described would include:

    Creed Original Vetiver
    Dior Homme
    Creed Aventus
    Tiffany for Men

Creed Original Vetiver, which is more a fresh, green floral than typical vetiver and it's also not one of the super expensive only available in flacons like some Creeds. Also, Dior Homme is a great scent which has an opening note that some describe as smelling like lipstick, which I can imagine, but then you like Hanae Mori which I like but it's a little strange to my nose with its combintion of lemon and chocolate. Another Creed that gets tons of praise and also lots of comments about ladies liking is Aventus. Tiffany for Men is available at any Tiffany store, and is a dead ringer for Chanel Pour Monsieur, and I believe would fit your preference profile.

Others that seem to fit your style are:

    PdN New York
    Chanel Egoiste
    Dior Eau Sauvage

A recent one that really impresses me is Idole de Lubin.
