$9 VDH kit for electric shaver?

So i saw the $9 VDH kit with the boar brush, bowl and soap. I know there are a few threads on it. Most posts about it seemed to be good for the price it is at.

Anyways my father's birthday is in a few days and my wife and i are flying up to see him. And thought a package like this might be nice. I myself have not received my first wet shaving kit. Its actually shipping now. So now im trying to buy a wet shaving kit or my father before i even get one.

Anyways he uses an electic razor. Im not sure if this would be a nice gift for him. I dont know how he would use it since he uses an electric razor. Any help would be appreciated.

Sure, you can give him the VDH kit and a DE razor with some blades, assuming he doesn't already have a DE lying around.

Give it to him without expectations (he may not use it) and wish him a happy birthday!
