Default Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill: Brunch on Sunday, March 18

Scott/HDStreetGlide is going to be in town this weekend, and we thought we'd get together for brunch on Sunday. if you'd like to come, let's say 1130 at the Red Monkey Tavern at Crabtree Valley Mall. Post if you're interested so we can get an idea about numbers. Should be fun!

Scott could do that on his very own... I personally saw him single-handedly empty a NYC subway car

Sorry that the rest of you Triangle shavers couldn't make it. Scott and I had a great lunch and delved deep into B&B lore.

Whew.... that's a relief! The shallow end is not marked very well.

Darn it, I didn't see this until today! (Not that I could have been there--I had a race to go to at 10 AM in Durham). Still, as much as I'm on here, it's strange that I didn't see this thread until now. Just goes to show what a multi-faceted gem this B&B is!

Hope you guys had a great time, and wish I coulda been there!!

    I just saw this too.

Never been to the Red Monkey Tavern. We always end up at the Cheesecake Factory (what can I say, the wife likes it)

It's pretty good. Seems to be locally owned, so I thought we'd give them our Badger Bucks rather than somebody else. Worth a visit.

Hey, just in passing I thought of this:

Whatever happened to the Carolinas Shaving group? Was there not enough traffic to justify it so it got bumped, or did it die with the software upgrade? There was a lot of great information about B&M stores in the area that new local wetshavers could use--I know that I found a few great local spots by reading those threads that I would never have heard of otherwise. It's a shame that the information isn't available anymore, and the wiki isn't a good subsitute.
