Default which shavemac hair for face lathering

    Hello,

I need your feedback on shavemac hair to help me decide which one to choose, I only face lather with soaps ( cella, MdC, sticks, p.160, ...) and my favoutite loft is 22/23 for 46/48 high

At the moment I use tulip size 2 in 2 bands and have to say it's my favourite so I'd like to know if shavemac have something similar.
I also use a thater 49125/0 in 3 bands but not enough backbone in my mind.

So, silvertip, D01, D01-2bands and bulb , fan or flat ?

    thanks for your help

D01 Two-band! My choice would be either a fan or flattop shape.

    Hi Chris,

Though I don't own a Shavemac, I will someday ;-), from what i've read in the forum, the advice from Rudy sounds spot on. One other thing you might consider is replacing your 3-band Thater with a 2-band Thater. The 2-band Thater will still have super soft tips, but more springy backbone than the 3-band.

+1, and at the 46mm loft should be great. If, however, you don't like any scritch at all, then you might consider the 3 band D01 in fan shape.
Brian - I think it would be totally inappropriate for me to even contemplate what I am thinking about.

Do you like a scritchy brush? If you like a some scritch get the D01. If you like super soft tips get the 3 band D01. And I think fan shape is the only way to go.

what is scritchy for you to give me an idea, no brush are scritchy for me when wet, i can only have an idea of scritchiness when hair are dry then I feel simpson best and thäter 3 bands are the softest brushes i Have at the moment and simpson 2 bands is more scritch but it's not a problem for me.

rudy make me a TGN finest 24/48 fan shape and this one is probably the most scritchy i have but i love it anyway, just a bit big for me.
