Is your SIM soap one of the original puck forms, Soren, or a grated stick(s)??

Why did Thater have to change their inscription style? That one on your brush looks so much better than the latest version. Very nice close-up of what has become my favourite brush

Semogue 1800| EJ DE89BChrome w/ Red IP (5) | Proraso Crema Pre E Dopo Barba |OMEGA SS| Nivea Replenishing Post Shave Balm

Just liked to say that I received my EJ Barley Chrome yesterday and it is quite a beauty! I used to have the Lined Chrome version but eventually sold it off. I do feel the BC is a couple of grams heavier which is a big + for me. After seeing this piece of equipment in person it was a DEdgeAD killer for me. Also I like to proudly say that I am on day 5 with same Red IP I had in Merkur 1904 and just swopped it. I guess I could say that I never gave it chance to see how long it lasts but after almost two years i've nailed down my technique! Well friends I hope you all have a great day and TGIF 2morrow!

If you notice the labels on my Semogue 1800 and Omega SS the font's color are almost identical!

Can't beat an EJ in any style of handle IMO, Balaji. And yet another phenomenal pic from you today!

I think I might make it the next soap I use in rotation with the creams I'm trying to use up. The Sea Buckthorn I have been using is starting to go a bit seethrough in places so hopefully it'll be seeing more use soon.

I actually agree with you that the fact Manantiales has been discontinued is no massive loss - the stick is every bit as good.

Thank you very much David! It looks like you really enjoyed the Toja for your morning's shave after much talk about it! What do think everyone will shave with tomorrow? I know what i'll be using but don't know if everyone has it in their rotations!

If anything I prefer the stick. Every bit as good in a more practical package.

Well, for me it's going to be my Speick stick. Other than that it's wait and see I think.

It may be more practical but it doesn't look as nice

My friend, I got the Arko stick in my free pack for the International Challenge (soap forum) and shaved with it twice. I have mixed feeling on this soap, quite honestly. The lather it gives is creamy and very slick, but I don't like the scent and for me its overall performance is somehow inferior compared to my top three sticks (Valobra, La Toja and Speick).

I like sticking with the theme bacause if I didnt, my less favored soaps and brushes would just sit there all sad and unused! the SOTD is a great way to keep a rotation that I would otherwise lack.
