Filled the empty Lamy 2000 with my neglected Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris. A good choice. I've had this ink for years but I only use it in my 78G pens, so haven't really given it a fair shake. But it's well-behaved, with good color, and always cleans out quickly. It always filled the niche of "sort of black but not really."
In the extremely wet-writing Lamy 2000 medium, it doesn't look "green-grey" as the name suggests, but rather a *very* dark navy blue-black. This is probably the truest blue-black I've ever come across, short of iron gall formulations.
I'm happy. I've always thought that the Lamy 2000 demanded a dark blue ink, and I was considering buying the limited edition Montblanc JFK navy blue ink for this very purpose. But as it turns out, I've had one all along. Well done R&K!
