What's new

What do I do?

Sam

Well, some rascally rabbit is eating up the roots to my azaleas. I used to think it was a mole since the grass was raised up in clumps at times. But that has not been the problem this year. This year it is the eating up of roots to my plants and shrubs.

Well, tonight I saw its hiding place and what it looked like. About 12 inches long, bushy tail, thin fellow, but ecru like badger hair, a little darker, but a dark stripe down its back and maybe its tail. I am thinking a chipmunk. Got some mole bait that is castor oil in pellets.

Any ideas?

Take your pick. Let 'em know you mean business.

Or you can go the Ralphie Parker route. Just be careful not to shoot your eye out.

Plant a couple of these around the yard to show what's in his future if he don't leave the plants alone. Ecru like badger (rabbit) hair might make a nice brush
