Shaving with Astroglide

Well..... you can't leave the 1/2 liter pump bottle of Astroglide out on the sink when company comes over....... "Oh, yeah..... that.... I *SHAVE* with it... really, I do"

"Yeah, sure...... tell us another one"........

Then grandma tries to use it to wash her hands........ can't turn the doorknob to get out of the bathroom....... THEN you're explaining it to the fire department.

No..... no, no...... I'll stick to my shaving cream.... but thanks for the tip anyway.

Gotta ask... Does this "super market" ask to see ID to prove you are over 21 when you enter it?

When I was growing up in Texas, the HEB Supermarket chain did not sell alcohol, beer, birth control products, or even condoms, and the family that owned the corporation were strict Baptists, supporters of state "Blue Laws" that closed most businesses on Sundays, with the exception of convenience stores, drugstores, entertainments, and service stations. In those days, to get a mixed drink served to you meant you had to belong to a private club.

I'm sure I've seen condoms in there now, fifty years later, and interestingly, the shave products for men sit atop a row of various lubricants and enhancements in their health and well being section of products. I didn't see "Astroglide", but I wasn't looking for it, either.

No..... no, no...... I'll stick to my shaving cream.... but thanks for the tip anyway.

I don't let my company use the master bathroom so this isn't a problem for me. Also I was using it instead of glycerine in my uberlather. Not replacing my cream with it. It is just slicker than glycerine somehow and manufactured to be that way.

For those of you who use glycerine, I am sold that it is better. I am going to Astrolather again tomorrow and let you know of any changes.

My face still feels great and I must have had a closer shave cause it doesn't seem that my beard is as thick as it normally is 14 hours after I shaved. I was also able to cut out a pass.
