MPG Santal Noble v Profumum Santalum

Interested to hear the thoughts of people who have tried both of these frags. I have tried Santal Noble and was about to buy a bottle when I saw the Santalum on Lucky Scent. It sounds good, so now I'm not too sure which one to get.

I have some Santal Noble and it is really good. Although I haven't tried Santalum, all of the Profumum stuff I have tried is through the roof!

Not to throw a wrench in your decision making, perhaps you should also be considering Antico Caruso.

I have Santal Noble, and while great, I may be partly anosmic to it...I can't detect it but others can.

I briefly tried Santalum and it seemed more potent. Much moreso.

I have Antico Caruso and it is awesome. Almond and sandalwood after a bit of citrus opening that somewhat evokes LeMale.
the Profvmvm scents are wayyyy pricey, but having tried and owning a lot of scents, I will say they are high quality and inordinately potent and long lasting. The Antico Caruso goes on almost oly, and seems like it may have been bottled about 20 minutes ago.

Cant say if you'd like the scent better, but would bet money the Sanatlum will run circles around SN in longevity.

Interesting, as the longevity of SN was one thing I wasn't overly happy about. You're not wrong about the price of Santalum though, it's twice the price of SN. Pity they don't do 50ml or 30ml bottles.
