Default What's the best way to use a Dirty Bird scuttle?

I have a Dirty Bird 1.5 scuttle and I use it for bowl lathering. My procedure is: run hot water in sink, close drain, let scuttle & sink fill and soak brush, shower, dump water, refill scuttle bottom with hot water, make lather & shave. Any ideas on how to do it better?

Tap, use mine the same way. Seems to work pretty well.

What you're doing will work fine. I do mine just from the tap also. No problems, and uses less water.
