I have experienced the most comfortable shave in my life just two weeks into DE shaving! I received some TOBS Lavender, and I decided to give it a try. Man, that stuff is great! I was using an unscented AOS starters kit. I could not get the lather down with the AOS. It never felt right, but on the first use with TOBS, the lather looked and felt great. The razor glided down my face. I had to rush my shave, so I didn't have my best looking shave. But, honestly, that does not matter. I have always experienced at least some mild discomfort after shaving. I literally have no discomfort. In fairness, this was my first time to use an alum block as well.
