Default Frag to follow Castle Forbes Limes Shave Cream and After Shave Balm

    Hello all,

So far all my creams are are part of a set: cream, after shave balm and cologne: T&H, ADP, Trumpers, Nancy Boy, Pengaligans etc....

I would like to try CF Limes but there is no Limes cologne or EDC in the CF line. I understand also that other Limes scents are not long lasting.

What would all of you reccommend to follow CF Limes to complement that scent?

    Thanks!

I've given up on lime scents. You're lucky to get an hour, if that.

CF did have a Limes frag a year or so ago. Just like almost all Limes it seemed to be gone in minutes. I kinda like using Royall Lyme. It's not a true lime scent, but it is lime based, and it at least sticks around for a while (longer than any other lime I've tried, anyway).

It really is all James' fault.

(Okay, maybe Owen had something to do with it as well.

CF made a Limited edition Lime EdC around 2005. I have a bottle that i bought from 99perfumes about 1 yr ago.
It lasts a lot longer than other Lime colognes (which is like saying it lasts more than an hour). Actually it lasts about 3 hrs on me and I layer it with Royall Lyme on a hot muggy July day.

Azure Lime by Tom Ford. Lemony for a bit but not very complex.

Cravache by Robert Piguet and Terre de Bois by Miller Harris are also lemony for a good few hours and more complex than AL.

+1 on Azure Lime and I'll toss in Penhaligon's Extract of Limes.

I have good luck with TOBS #74 lime cologne. Sticks around fine on my skin. I always shave in the evening, and I can still get a whiff of it in the morning.

    I would add:
Anglia's Spiced Limes or Imperial Lime
    Bathhouse: Cuban Cedar and Limes

I also find Acqua di Parma Colonia to be a good scent with the CF routine, although it's citrus and not precisely lime.
