It is extremely protective, almost too much so, sometimes I feel like it makes my technique sloppier.

I also like how when I bowl lather, I can start with more water in the bottom of the bowl than I thought could possibly be absorbed into the soap, yet I always end up with a stiff, smooth leather.

The best soap that I've used and I actually like the smell.
I have a Noob question: Has the formulation of Right Guard changed? Could I go to a drug store and find out what Tabac smells like? I ask this because I am fairly sensitive to scents (as is my girlfriend) and I have been hesitant to go ahead with a purchase of Tabac (I am a college student, so I only spend money on what I know will work for me; cash is tight). If the formulation of RG has changed, is there another product that reminds you of Tabac that one might find in a typical drug store? Thanks for your help and advice, gents! I appreciate it.

I decided to tag along with the Tabac following today, picking up a bottle of aftershave in Boots. Not in a pair of boots... me, or the AS... I think I was wearing shoes...

I have to make myself use my other soaps. Fortunately, this stuff lasts forever.

    +1

Cosmicdoom gave me a grated sample of this stuff. I used a pinch (probably a blob the size of an almond and a half when I smooshed it back together). I lathered it for three days and there was still a little left at the end of the third day. This stuff is legen - wait for it - dary! And it smells great.

I have been between MWF, Tabac and Speick stick recently and i really like my Tabac a lot more after grated half my stick into a tupperware. I think i don't like using sticks very much. I was 50/50 on keeping my SIM stick but after this bout with Tabac i think i will :)

Tabac works for me. And as soon as the puck is gone, I am going to start using the shave stick version.

Just wanted to get the thread back where it deserves to be... BUMP!

Finally got around to purchasing a bowl from target to put my Tabac in that has patiently been watching my use other soaps. I have never used Tabac before, but now that I have for about a week now, Hands Down! the best soap I have used so far.

Is there a difference between the Tabac puck or stick?

Used it for the first time today, great smell and really easy to lather. Glad I picked it up as I like it way more than Col Conks.
