Vacations: before and after wetshaving

Before I started wetshaving last year: "Great, I don't need to shave at all!"
Now: "Great, I can shave every day and take all the time I want!"

Fortunately I gave SWMBO about 8 months of lead time so she wasn't too surprised about this...

I am in the same boat, sort of. Before B&B I was wet-shaving already but had only a few different items and had a fixed vacation-set. Nowadays I need more time to pick a razor, brush (one or two? Two!), blades and soaps/creams for when I go on holiday than I need to get all other things packed. A bit silly perhaps but that is how it is!

Eh, I'm still into less is more while on vacation.

It used to be when we'd go on vacation I would quit shaving about 3 days prior and only shave when I got back. On a trip over a week I might shave a bit of my neck to avoid the itchiness that goes with having whiskers too long at the neck crease.

Now I look forward to shaving on the weekends for exactly the reason you mention. It also gives me a chance to try out my travel kit.

I've got another road trip this weekend, though only for one night. Still...I'm looking forward to the shave.
