C&E Sandalwood - giving it a go.

The wife and I were down in Atlanta for the weekend and stopped by the Crabtree & Evelyn store at the Perimeter mall. I picked up a puck of the Sandalwood soap (didn't care for the Sienna or Nomad scents).

Milled the soap into a container last night, gave it a test lather then went live with it this morning. I did add in 4 drops of glycerin and as others have mentioned, this soap is thirsty. However, the lather was quite nice, very slick and didn't dry out at all by the time I had done 3 passes with a light bit of touchup. Didn't seem to dry out or irritate my skin at all. While the Sandalwood scent is not my favorite (I prefer Mama Bear's Autumn Lodge or Cedarwood/Lemon) but it was not bad either. Reminded me of my grandfather.

Just wanted to share my experience. I do think I'll keep this in my rotation.

I have used C&E Sandalwood and also found it to be a good soap. Not my favorite scent, but certainly still very nice. Always whipped up a nice lather.
