Default Just cut off my beard and joined an internet shave forum - Newb's first post!

I'm a 26 year old, newly married guy that just gave up my prized vagrant beard. I realized that my scruff wasn't just a beard... It was lazy on my face.

On a whim, I took a crash course in vintage razors, and scored a Super Speed M1 from ebay for $9.99; I can't wait to enjoy it. I am excited to slow down my life, if only for 20 minutes a day, and actually enjoy something that has been a chore for so long.

Reading some of these threads, I realized that I have been missing so many of the little things that make life great. I love the mindset and life experience that a lot of the Old-School guys bring. I look forward to stealing some wisdom.

Welcome to B&B and wet shaving. As you have already discovered, the new ways aren't always the best, and those old Gillette's were built to last.

    Enjoy making the mundane fun!
