Hi guys,
I'm a complete newbie from Ireland, but living in Toronto for the time being and I'm really interested in getting into the art of Wet Shaving. Can anyone help me by suggesting locations to check out in Toronto (preferably downtown) where I could get a straight razor to start off with and any other equipment I might need? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for what I should start off with?

I'm living in Ottawa now, but I was born and raised in Toronto. There's a place in the Atrium (Dundas & Bay), although I forget the name of the place exactly, which you should look into.

I cannot recommend Larry at whippeddog.com highly enough. Fantastic straight razor starter kits at a very decent price (and shipping international is low too).Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent.
