I actually found it...out by the dumpster! It's an old CD/VHS storage unit. It was in perfect condition and reasonably well made (very heavy), so I grabbed it. Worked out pretty nice I think, for free anyway.

I think that's great -- and the shelf looks fantastic. Way to adapt and overcome! I just scored a great deal of my own: A pedestal sink for $7.99 that I'm installing in my bath along with a vintage tub.
A classical symphony! Mine is more like a Schönberg-wannabee 12-tone ... mess.
