I just won a streamline set on the bay last night!! (missing the strop, but otherwise complete). I cannot WAIT to get this thing in the mail and have my first streamline shave!

Ok-time for me to sop lurking and join in here. In a fit of madness, I just purchased a streamline razor and stroper from English E-bay for an obscene amount of money(although less than the Ikon I bought a month ago). The set is without a box and without a strop. My question is "has anyone in the forums made their own strops for these razors? I have read elsewhere that an English gent makes them as replacements for Autostrops but haven't found a reasonable source for an Ever Ready replacement. Are they interchangeable? I feel comfortable doing the leather work if I can find basic dimensions, particularly thickness. BTW-I appreciate the Forum here and folks who have contributed much to my knowledge of wet shaving.
I honestly thought I was going to slow down on buying razors......until I read this thread.

Someone got themselves one heck of a bargain (Approx. US $57, shipped to U.S. from UK)

If it wasn't for the fact that I already have a perfectly good, cased Streamline, I would have been all over this one.
