Thread: Brush Hog

I recently purchased a Simpson Duke 2, (2 weeks ago). I lather in a scuttle and it seems like the brush hogs the cream leaving not much in the scuttle. Here lies the problem; I have no way to judge the consistency of my cream. Will this change after the brush is broken in?

I've been having the same issue with my new duke 3. I'll be looking forward to what others say.

I only have one really dense brush and as Steadfast says, use more product. Bigger/denser brushes need more soap or cream tp have enough lather to not get caught up in the knot.

If there's not enough product in the bowl you're not using enough product. That or your lather is too dry.
