Default First cream experience - TOBS Lemon and Lime

Wow! That is about all that I can say right now. Thanks to another member, I was able to pick up a lot of creams and soaps on the BST. Just received them in the mail and decided to give the TOBS a try. If that is proper lather, it is AMAZING. Tons of creamy goodness that kept going and going. I thought my VdH soap did pretty well, but crikeys! (to borrow a turn of phrase from our friends down under). The explorations continue!!!

Yep. TOBS is pretty much idiot-proof as far as getting good lather goes. It is really hard to go wrong.

What did you think of the scent? So far, all of the T's perform brilliantly which is why I've mostly set aside soaps for creams.

I like the scent, lemony/limey but subtle. And I still can't get over the lather....

JC is right. TOBS lathers great, no matter what the scent IMO. There's a whole new world of creams waiting for you now!

I just tested my lemon/lime sampler yesterday. IMO, it makes for a great summer scent. Overall, creams are amazing! I can't wait for my Dirtybird scuttle to arrive.

Don't forget their Avocado shave cream for a nice lather and fine cushion. Jermyn St is another favorite for sensitive skin types.

    Does it smell like sprite?

Two of my favorites, also Mr.Taylor, the scent is great.
They all perform superb. If you can't make a good lather with these you might as well give up.
Still like a lot of my soaps though.

This was my first cream too. I think it smells more like something you'd find in a pastry aisle. Lemon curd or lime custard or something like that. It's a pleasantly sweet smell, not at all overpowering as a lather, and doesn't hang around for long.

St James and Eton College are also worthy scents that have not been mentioned. TOBS shave creams are great performers and the price is nice. Enjoy

TOBS is great, I used Mr Taylors today. You should also try JM Frasers shave cream, great lather like TOBS and at a great price.
