    I like the Osage orange one. The color is quite yellow and even in that sample.

    +1, I really like that one as well. What equipment do you need to make the handles? Any special lathe attachments needed?

    makes me wish I had a lathe, I have been wanting to turn an African rosewood handle for some time

    I say the investment is worth it if you have the time and money. I actually started branching out and have made some other stuff like pens, cigar punches, and tap handles. Just know that to do the job right with brush handles you will need a drill press (I learned that lesson the hard way and have the scars to prove it) and also a miter saw.

    Darn, I guess I need to set my lathe back up. I've been wanting to turn brush handles for a while, but never got motivated to rebuild my lathe. I guess I need to now!
