Tried some blades and have questions

Hey all,

I am new to safety shaving so I bought a sample pack of blades to see what's out there. Some I liked and some I really hated. I'm wondering what my preferences indicate and what other blades I should try.

Liked:
Feather Hi Stainless
Lord Platinum Class
Personna Platinum

Hated:
Gillette 7 o'clock
Astra Superior Platinum

The sample pack came with 2 shark blades as well the Shark Super Chrome and the Shark Super Stainless. One of these I didn't care for and one I enjoyed but since they are so similar I'm now forgetting which is which.

Based on what I like what other blades should I give a whirl?

Considering the blades that worked well for you it sounds like your face responds well to very sharp or aggressive blades. You may want to try Crystals, Bic and Wilkinson Sword as they are relatively sharp (not nearly as sharp as Feather of course). If it is sharpness that you are reacting positively to than you would likely not enjoy Derby as they are very mild, but you can never know until you try. Here's an article that gives some good advice on picking blades that I found interesting. If you decide you wanted to try Derby just for the heck of it let me know and I will PIF you some. Good luck.
