Cream cheese based chip dip - in heaven....

Ok - I am sure someone here has tried this before, but I just tasted it when I got married last year. My wife claims it is a 'secret' family recipe... hogwash... and since I am not about secrets, here it is.

1 package of Philly brand cream cheese ( block form)

Worchestershire sauce

Onion powder

Heinz ketchup

.....

The cream cheese must be at room temp and soft. Blend in a large bowl with 21 drops of Worchestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp onion powder, and enough ketchup to make it a salmon pink color. In my experience, it is about 2 tsp.

It sounds so simple, and I never EVER would have mixed any of this stuff. BUT.... dipping UTZ chips in this is soooo good.

It is better if put in the fridge overnight, if it gets that far...

Why am I posting this? Because I was specifically ORDERED not to. Please enjoy and share with friends!

That sounds good! I make some with a pack of Philly, a TBS of garlic salt, and 2-3 TBS of preffered hot sauce. Heaven on a pork rind!

I've had something similar made from cream cheese and Tiger Sauce. It was okay. My favorite Super-Sekrit-Family-Recipe-Hillbilly-Chip-Dip is the sausage/salsa/Velveeta mix that cooks in a crockpot. Great stuff.
